A new compact pre-treatment unit is now introduced by SKE using a vortex flow pattern. The unit combines fine screening, grit separation and FOG removal.

The cylindrical shape of the separator together with the conical bottom and the internal paddle mixer enhance the removal of grit and FOG by introducing a vortex type flow pattern. The combination of centrifugal and gravitational forces ensures excellent separation effect while maintaining the compactness of the system. System may be delivered with or without aeration system.

Separated grit is discharge via a screw conveyor and collected into container. FOG that is collected onto the surface is also removed by the action of a rotating arm scraper and collected into a receiving container.

The unit is made in stainless steel AISI304 or AISI316L.
